Every once in a while I’ll come across fanart rendering older HM chars in the new ToT/AP style. I love them! I’ve been practicing mimicking that style, but unfortunately it’s almost 80% to do with the way the picture is colored and I rarely have the patience for that anymore.

Here’s some attempts, though!

The first pic is really old art of Gwen and Louis I did…. no idea, 4 years ago? 5? I hate it now but that’s that.

I was just thinking to myself— as much as I love to draw Katie, I don’t like her that much and never go for her in the games shes in. However, I nearly always go for Gwen— and I never draw her! It makes no sense, I LOVE her hair.

The other pics are much more recent, and the entire post comprises all the art I’ve ever done of her. For shame, Owen. For shame.

Some sketches I did when Animal Parade first came out. I thought I had more AP stuff than this, but I suppose not! At least not until some way more recent stuff.

I had a reason for drawing this, but 3-4 years later I can’t for the life of me remember what it was. Something about wondering what a character in MM does with the gifts they don’t like, since they always take them anyway.
